ABC Family will reveal at the end of the summer if it will renew the murder-filled drama “Twisted” for a second season, TV Line reports.

Season 1 ended in April with fans wondering if Kyle shot Charlie after the shocking revelation that Charlie is Tess’s son. Fans have been on the edge of their seats all summer waiting for ABC Family to announce if there will be a Season 2 to answer that question.

Twisted’ Season 1’s low ratings have led many to believe that the network’s silence means certain cancellation, but producer Chuck Pratt Jr. remains optimistic. Pratt told TV Line, “Nobody told us to put on the breaks, or wrap it up, so there’s always a chance we’ll come back.”

ABC Family President Tom Ascheim says an answer is coming soon. Ascheim told TV Line, “We love ‘Twisted,’ but we’re going to announce pickups at the end of the summer.”

Season 1 of “Twisted” is currently available on Netflix for those who want to catch up on all the drama.
