There’s a feud brewing on the set of “Fast 8” and Tyrese Gibson wants the world to know that he is in no way involved.

The actor cleared the air on Instagram Tuesday, posting a video of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson singing to his daughter. As Entertainment Tonight noted in the caption the 37-year-old actor called fans “impressionable,” adding that if they were at odds the former pro-wrestler “wouldn’t be singing from his heart and soul” to his daughter Shayla. The post was deleted shortly after, but not before fans could grab a screenshot.

Rumors of a “Fast 8” cast feud began swirling on Monday after Johnson launched an intense Instagram tirade against unnamed male co-stars. He shared a video of himself in character as Luke Hobbs beating on a prison guard and tossing him aside effortlessly, writing in the caption that he would be wrapping filming this week. Johnson praised the many actresses — including Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Charlize Theron (Cipher), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), Elsa Pataky (Elena Neves) and Helen Mirren — he’d worked with on the film, but had very few positive words for his male co-stars. In fact, he suggested that some of the men on set were “chicken s---” and “candy a--es.” Johnson closed out his rant by saying that much of the anger fans will see in “Fast 8” is very much real.

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em. My male co-stars however are a different. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s--- to do anything about it anyway. Candy a--es. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right. Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on FAST 8 and I’ll finish strong.

Johnson did not name the specific actor or actors who he was having issues, which left the door open for speculation. Sources told E! Online that Johnson was known to “get heated with some other guys on set” during filming. The tifts are said to have been minor and all parties were “cool” shortly after.

“Some of the guys did some small things that pissed him off so he snapped,” the source told E! “He called them out and then they were [too] silent to man up and say what they wanted to say.”
