HTC unveiled its latest 3D Android smartphone, EVO 3D, today in the Indian market.

EVO 3D will take the mobile multimedia experience to a greater level, as it can capture and view 3D content in a high-definition display on a 4.3-inch screen, completely without the use of 3D glasses with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

Based on Google's Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system, this 3D smartphone features a dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon S3 processor, and dual 5-megapixel cameras that can shoot 3D videos and click pictures in 2D and 3D. The 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera is for video chats.

HTC's new smartphone comes with a 4GB memory card, the internal memory is 1GB, which is expandable, and 1GB of RAM.

With Integrated GPS, and 3G Mobile capability, it also supports up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously.

The HTC EVO 3D will be available at a Price of Rs. 35,990 at all authorized HTC retailers across the country. It has kept its price keeping in mind the current cost of its sole competitor- LG Optimus 3D, which is almost equal.

However, HTC EVO can give tough competeion to LG, in terms of specifications. LG launched a similar phone with 3D capabilities, early this year. LG's Optimum 3D also offers 3D viewing.
