World Wrestling Entertainment prepared a touching tribute on Monday to the late Ultimate Warrior, one week after his final appearance on "Monday Night Raw."

In an extensive tribute to the Ultimate Warrior's life and career, WWE aired a montage of highlights and his final Raw speech, interspersed with clips from interviews with Hulk Hogan, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Next, the entire WWE roster walked onto the arena’s entranceway to observe a moment of silence for Warrior. Several wrestlers wore T-shirts bearing Warrior's distinctive logo as the bell was wrung 10 times in his honor. Afterward, the crowd gave Warrior a standing ovation.

Born James Hellwig, the man known as the Ultimate Warrior, died last Tuesday after collapsing while walking to his car at a hotel in Scottsdale, Ariz. Hellwig was 54. His death occurred just days after his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, and mere hours after his final appearance on "Raw."

While the exact cause of death wasn't immediately known, medical officials who spoke to TMZ said they suspected a “catastrophic medical event.” Sources who spent time with Hellwig in the days leading up to his death said that he appeared ready to “burst at the seams.”

“We all felt like he looked ready to blow a gasket,” a source told TMZ. “It was pretty easy to see.”

A subsequent autopsy report confirmed that Warrior had died after suffering a massive heart attack, TMZ reported. Officials said that the WWE Hall of Famer had heart disease and added that drugs and alcohol weren't directly involved in his death.
