The United Nations says it is halting all aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip due to a series of Israeli attacks on UN staff and its installations.

This was announced shortly after the driver of a U.N. truck was killed by tank fire as he was headed to an Israeli border crossing to pick up an aid shipment.

According to the U.N, the Israel was aware of the delivery but their army was not informed.

U.N. spokesperson, Chris Gunness, says aid shipments are being suspended until the safety of staff can be guaranteed.
