The waiting game is finally over for U.S Galaxy Nexus Prime fans after the release date has been leaked as Dec.8 for Verizon customers.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime was released in the U.K last Thursday with no word of when the phone would be out in the U.S. Verizon are yet to officially announce a release date, but according to thered99.com, Verizon sent out an email saying the Nexus Prime would launch in all locations by Dec.8.
The news once again brought disappointment to impatient customers, who were hoping to score deals on the phone during Black Friday Thanksgiving sales. No nexus prime for Black Friday. Wait or buy iPhone? Lordtecht tweeted.
The Nexus Prime is the phone to support the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, which was designed to bridge the gap between Android 2.x and the 3.0 honeycombs. The latest Samsung phone comes with a dual core 1.2 GHz Texas Instruments OMAp4460 processor.
It comes with AMOLED 4.65 inch screen with a 720p resolution. It's 8.94mm thinness gives the phone a sleek finish and weighing only 135g. Despite being so slender and light the phone comes with a 16.30 GB storage and 1GB RAM giving it twice the memory of the iPhone 4S.
