Victoria Beckham has made a shocking revelation. The fashion designer who loves wearing heels admitted that she can no longer wear heels. She unveiled her latest collection at her Dover Street store in London.

Talking to the Telegraph, the 41-year-old designer said that she now prefers more sensible footwear. The A-list wife of retired footballer David Beckham regularly sports stilettos, but said it’s just not practical any longer. “I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working,” said Victoria.

The mother-of-four added that she travels a lot and hence her clothes have to be simple and comfortable. However, the former Spice Girl once said that she could not concentrate in flats and loved heels. Victoria has also said that she hated ballerina flats and that she has said that she cannot walk in them.

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty has been photographed regularly sporting flats and even a pair of white Adidas Stan Smith trainers over the last few weeks. On Tuesday, Victoria was spotted in a laidback look. She was dressed in black cropped trousers, a jumper and shirt combination and a navy trench coat with statement sleeve embellishment.

She completed her look in her signature oversized sunglasses and white Stan Smiths. Her long brunette locks were pulled back and tied into a low ponytail. At the New York Fashion Week on Feb. 14, the designer took to the runway to take a bow in the same white trainers.

Victoria’s appearance was completely in contrast to the little black dress and black stilettos that she wore to take her bow after her show in September. The casual clothes that she is currently sporting are an extension of her new collection. She said that her collection has been designed for women who need clothes for work as well as for the evening.
