The Dallas Mavericks rose above expectations in 2011 and defeated the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.
On Thursday, the Mavericks took to the city of Dallas, and had a parade to celebrate their momentous achievement. Roughly 200,000 people were in attendance to celebrate the Mavericks' Championship.
Dallas police reported no problems over the course of the afternoon.
