The goalie in a soccer match has landed a controversial flying kick on back of an opponent's neck.

It happened during the match between Vasco da Gama and Sport Recife at the BH Cup U-19 Tournament in Brazil held on Monday.

The goalie named Gustavo landed a deliberate kung-fu kick to the back of Elivenlton's neck, knocking him down.

The incident happened after a Sport Recife's player was shoved by Vasco players.

Fortunately, Elivelton didn't suffer any fractures and did not suffer an injury.

Police are investigating the incident and Gustavo was sacked from his team before he even left the stadium.
