As the dust settles following the exits of Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd from the view, rumors are already growing about who will be replace them.

Shepherd confirmed she would be leaving the show in a statement Thursday while McCartney confirmed her exit through her Twitter account.

With Barbara Walters’ recent retirement from the show, Whoopi Goldberg remains the only familiar face from the talk show’s most recent lineup. And though no official replacements have been revealed, there is already talk swirling about the who will be the show's new co-hosts.

TMZ quotes sources as saying producers are very interested in bringing Laila Ali to “The View.” There is also talk former “The View” host Rosie O’Donnell may be making a return as well.

The last major shakeup at the show came last July when Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced she would be leaving the show to join “Fox & Friends.” McCartney was brought on as Hasselbeck’s replacement.
