Walking Dead Season 7 episode 5
Maggie hasn’t been seen on “The Walking Dead” since the Season 7 premiere, but fans will finally learn in episode 5 where she’s been hiding. AMC

Maggie is alive and well! The next episode of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will take viewers back to the Hilltop and also reveal where Maggie has been hiding out ever since Glenn’s brutal death.

According to a synopsis for Season 7, episode 5 — titled “Go Getters” — several of the people at Alexandria travel to the Hilltop Colony. “[They] hope to find safety at the Hilltop before it’s too late,” the description (via TV Guide) reads.

In a promo video for episode 5, fans see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) resting at what appears to be the Hilltop. As fans may recall, Maggie is having a difficult pregnancy and has been extremely ill. Witnessing Glenn’s (Steven Yeun) death probably only made things worse for her, but, thankfully, she looks like she’s doing OK in the short clip.

The promo also shows that Gregory (Xander Berkeley) is worried about The Saviors coming to the Hilltop. Apparently, he doesn’t believe Rick (Andrew Lincoln) can keep them safe and points out that Rick and his group have only brought trouble with them.

In an official sneak peek, seen at the top of this page, Carl (Chandler Riggs) seems angry about how his dad is handling Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and The Saviors. Carl is seen questioning Michonne (Danai Gurira) about their plan, or lack thereof, and tells her that they should be fighting, not doing whatever Negan says. Michonne seems to be on the fence about how they should handle the situation with Negan.

Following Sunday’s episode 4, Gurira chatted with Variety about her character unwillingly agreeing with Rick that they can’t fight The Saviors. “Michonne finding Negan there [at Alexandria] is very, very frustrating for her. They have been caught with their pants down,” she said. “Michonne has been garnering a very real reaction to Rick’s inertia. It is really a very frustrating disconnect and lack of communication, which they’ve never had. It causes her to retreat. She goes back to being a loner and being by herself, figuring out how to handle this in a solo way.”

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
