U.S. stocks slipped at the open on Wednesday on worries over Greece's ongoing financing woes and ahead of an auction of 10-year Treasury notes coming amid concerns about rising yields.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> lost 26.75 points, or 0.24 percent, to 10,943.24. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> fell 2.74 points, or 0.23 percent, to 1,186.70. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> dropped 4.64 points, or 0.19 percent, to 2,432.17.
