Hallmark Channel’s lineup of new movies for Spring is continuing, with the newest premiere, “Warming Up to You.” The film, which stars Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell and Caitlyn Stryker, debuts Saturday night.

Fans will be in for a treat with the film, as it reunites Busby and Russell for their third film together after 2020’s “Love in the Forecast” and 2021’s “Chasing Waterfalls.’ Fans will also be in for a treat of course because both are often featured in Hallmark films. In the last few years, Busby’s credits have also included “Royal Hearts,” “Marrying Mr. Darcy,” “Wedding March 5: My Boyfriend’s Back,” “A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love,” “Romance in the Air” and “Hearts Down Under.” Russell’s have included “Love Unleashed,” “All Summer Long,” “The Mistletoe Secret,” “Nature of Love” and “Where Your Heart Belongs.”

As for Stryker, she is also a Hallmark regular. Her credits in the last few years have included “Harvest Love,” “SnowComing,” “Just Add Romance,” “A Feeling of Home,” “Christmas Town,” “Time for You to Come Home for Christmas,” “A Valentine’s Match,” “It Was Always You,” “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and “Sealed with a Kiss: Wedding March 6.”

So what can fans expect from this film? Let’s find out.

“Kate (Busby) is a fitness instructor who leaves Los Angeles to take a job at her best friend’s wellness retreat” a synopsis reads. “To her surprise, A-list actor Rick 9Russell) is assigned by the studio to come and train with her to get ready for his new feature film.”

As the two work together, sparks naturally begin to fly—until an obstacle appears in their path.

“Not only does the dup make a breakthrough athletically, but they equally break through some personal walls and find an unexpected friendship that is put at risk when Rick’s co-star, Liza (Stryker) is also sent to train with Kate,” the synopsis concludes.

Will the two find a way to make things work?

“Warming Up to You” premieres Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
