Watch ‘Toy Story Of Terror’ On Wednesday, Oct. 16; Photos From ABC Halloween Special

It’s time to welcome Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the “Toy Story” gang back to the screen. The toys have returned and are embarking on a brand new adventure in the ABC Halloween special “Toy Story OF Terror!”

Disney/Pixar’s first television special will find the “Toy Story” gang on a fun road trip that takes a spooky twist when their owner stops at a roadside motel. Things take an “unexpected turn for the worse” when one of the toys goes missing. The others find themselves “caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate.”

“Toy Story OF TERROR!” won’t be all screams though. Viewers can definitely expect some laughs, and according to TV Guide, a “very happy ending” as well.

Besides Woody, Buzz and Jessie, “Toy Story” fans can look forward to reuniting with Combat Carl, Mr. Pricklepants, Trixie and Rex. And according to director Angus MacLane, you’ll be able to see your favorite characters in a much different light -- the special will pay homage to classic horror movies like “Psycho,” “Friday The 13th” and “Night of the Living Dead.”
