Thandie Newton and Leonardo Nam filmed a lot of scenes together in “Westworld” Season 1, and the two did such a fantastic job that they helped the HBO show cinch an outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series nomination in this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In Nam’s Instagram page, the actor posted a cute video of himself goofing off with Newton and their co-star Ptolemy Slocum before heading to the awards ceremony.

Earlier, he told Entertainment Tonight that he is looking forward to seeing his childhood crush Winona Ryder from “Stranger Things.” “I am really looking forward to seeing [Ryder],” he confessed. “And then Lily Tomlin, she is an absolute god to me. I'm really just going to geek out, honestly. My head's just going to explode.”

Looking back, Nam said it was really nervewracking to work with Newton, not just because they filmed a lot of scenes with her in the nude, but because of her caliber as an actress. “I really gotta give it to her. She really gave her all to this performance, and it really shows. People have really responded to her character and our storyline, so I'm just really grateful to be part of it,” he said.

Nam gushed that Newton is an “ultimate professional” who is also both loving and caring as a friend. “She was just so wonderful, just so darling and really took me under her wing,” he added.

Newton also got a nomination for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for her role as Maeve Millay, but she lost to Clare Foy of “The Crown.”

The actress raved about Foy on her Twitter page, calling her a “stunning actress and lovely person.”

She even posted a hilarious photo of herself losing “graciously” to Foy, which her fans thought was brilliant.
