Everyone’s favorite cult escapee is back! “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” Season 2 hits Netflix Friday. The Tina Fey-produced comedy was a breakout success last year, so plenty of people will want to binge-watch it right away. But those who want to be first to see the new season will have to tune in at the right time.

In typical Netflix style, the entire season will be posted at once, and everyone gets to watch at the same time. That means that East Coast viewers will have to stay up until the early hours of the morning. “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” Season 2 will be available for streaming at 12 a.m. PDT/3 a.m. EDT on Friday, April 15.

Anyone who wants to tune in will need a Netflix account. The streaming service starts at $7.99 a month, but new users can take advantage of the free trial. Netflix waives the fee for the first month if you’ve never signed up before. One month is plenty of time to watch all 13 episodes of “Kimmy Schmidt” Season 2, and fans have several platforms to choose from. The website works on laptops and desktops, but the Netflix app allows users to watch on their smartphones and tablets as well.

Watch a trailer for “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” Season 2 below:

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” follows the titular character, played by Ellie Kemper, as she adjusts to the world after being held hostage in a bunker for 15 years. Now she is living in New York and trying to create a life for herself. Despite her dark past, Kimmy is a very upbeat person. However, getting kidnapped as a teenager has kept her in the same state of mind she was before the bunker, so she’s a bit immature and naïve. Kimmy is going to do more growing up in Season 2, though.

“I think there is so much self-realization this season that her smile is not wiped off her face, but it is tempered a bit,” Kemper explained to Collider. “I think it resolves itself well, in a peaceful acceptance of things that can’t always be changed. I think that a person like this character can remain optimistic while also keeping expectations in check, which is the point that she gets to.”

Fans will have to tune in to see how Kimmy changes this year.
