Black To Back singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her house in London on Saturday.

Sources claim that Winehouse died of drug overdose. Her death followed a disastrous concert in Belgrade, Serbia, when she was booed off by fans for delivering a discordant performance under drunken stupor.

However DailyMail reported that the Metropolitan police had not yet confirmed the exact reason of her death.

At age 27 she joins the list of famous singers like Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix whose lives were brought to an abrupt end due to drug overdose.

Telegraph reported Winehouse's friends as stating: "Her drinking is totally out of control. Amy is constantly out of control on vodka." Winehouse had been in and out of rehab the most recent being in May.

Miss Winehouse joins a host of other talented singers, musicians and actors - like Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Heath Ledger, Janis Joplin, Sid Vicious and Hank Williams who became casualties of drug overdose or substance abuse and died young.
