There was plenty of chatter this summer over Pippa Middleton following the announcement of her engagement to then boyfriend James Matthews. But now all of the talk is centering around her wedding date.

Matthews gave the 33-year-old Reading native an engagement ring reportedly worth $120,000. "The Ascher-cut center diamond looks to be about 3.5 carats. It's set in a platinum bezel setting surrounded by white, brilliant-cut diamonds, adding about another 1.5 carats," jewelry expert Michael O'Connor told Us Weekly.

Although there has not been an official announcement of the exact date in which the duo will walk down the aisle, Kate Middleton’s sister did give the public a hint as to when they can expect to see her dressed up in all white. "Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17 July and plan to marry next year," read a statement released by Pippa Middleton and her fiancé in July.

The Duchess of Cambridge married Prince William in 2011, while Pippa Middleton turned heads while wearing a flattering custom Alexander McQueen dress that beautifully fit her body and received praise from the media. Many are expecting an extravagant wedding from Middleton who previously released the book, “Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends.” In the book, the socialite shares recipes and tips on how to create a memorable event and host a successful party.

On Sept. 13, she spent an hour in an upscale flower shop in London looking at ivory and lace bridal bouquets, Us Weekly reported. Middleton initially wanted Adele to perform at her wedding but the songstress was too expensive. Due to her Grammy Award winning status, Adele can charge $1 million or more for a private performance.

Whatever wedding date she chooses, Pippa Middleton is sure to have the support of her family. Following the announcement, Middleton’s family released statements expressing their joy over the engagement. “They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together,” her father Michael Middleton said.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are absolutely delighted with the news,” said a Kensington Place spokesperson. Rumors have surfaced that Middleton’s sister was forbidden from attending her sibling’s wedding by the Queen of England, however, those allegations were later dismissed. The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to have a small role in the in the festivities so the wedding “won’t turn into a circus.”

Matthews, 41, who is chief executive of Eden Rock Capital Management Group and manages a hedge fund, is expected to invite his brother Spencer Matthews to the wedding. His sibling stars in the reality series, “Made in Chelsea” which follows the lives of wealthy socialites.

Sources have said that the Middleton-Matthews nuptials could take place in the early summer since the ceremony will be an “elegant” countryside event.
