‘America’s Got Talent’
Did Heidi Klum give her golden buzzer to deceased contestant Bradon Rogers during his audition in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12? NBC

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 contestant Brandon Rogers passed away last month before his episode aired on the hit NBC reality TV competition.

At the time, Billboard reported that Rogers’ audition was supposed to air on Tuesday, July 4. However, there is still no word from the people behind the show regarding whether or not Rogers’ performance will still be included next week. There are also some speculations suggesting that Rogers could have received the last golden buzzer for Season 12.

As of late, judge Heidi Klum has not yet handed out her golden buzzer to any contestant on the show. There have not been any teasers showing the supermodel hitting the golden buzzer on the judges’ table. Last week, none of the contestants who auditioned on the show received the privilege of automatically advancing to the live shows.

According to TMZ, the producers of “America’s Got Talent” saw Rogers’ cover of one of Boyz II Men’s songs on his Instagram account and invited him to audition. Last month, a source told the publication that NBC and “AGT” haven’t made a final decision regarding Rogers’ audition yet, but his family already expressed their desire to see him on television.

Considering that Rogers was asked to audition on the show by the producers, this means that his talent in singing must be outstanding. Howie Mandel’s golden buzzer recipient, Christian Guardino, 16, touched the hearts of the viewers after it was revealed that he was cured from total blindness at the age of 12. However, “America’s Got Talent” isn’t the first place in which Guardino has performed. He has sang in front of Michelle Obama and even won at the “Amateur Night at the Apollo Stars of Tomorrow.”

Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer pick, 29-year-old deaf singer Mandy Harvey, isn’t new in the industry as well. In 2009, she released her first album, “Smile.” In 2010, she released “After You’ve Gone” and in 2014, she dropped “All of Me.” At the moment, Harvey is also writing an inspirational book and is an ambassador for No Barriers USA and Invisible Disabilities Association. Last season, Klum also gave her golden buzzer to a singer named Sal Valentinetti, which means she could do the same in Season 12.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
