In return for a short stack of Buttermilk pancakes, IHOP will be encouraging donations for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other select charities.

The restaurant chain has been celebrating National Pancake Day since 2006 and has so far raised $8 million for charity. Its goal for 2012 is to raise $2.7 million.
