“Glee” alum Matthew Morrison is the latest cast member from the hit FOX series who has been cast in an ABC TV show.

According to E! News, Morrison will guest star in at least one episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13. However, his role is still being kept under wraps.

But there are already speculations as to which character he will play. As of late, one controversial character has not yet appeared in the show, and that is Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) ex-husband. In the previous season, Jo shared her terrible past with her good friend, Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti). Jo revealed that her ex-husband physically abused her.

Even before Morrison’s casting was announced, “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 cast member Justin Chambers also revealed that he will be part of the TV series. On his Twitter account, Chambers posted a short video of Morrison saying his character’s name. The actor said he will give life to the character of Dr. Paul Stadler.

Meanwhile, Morrison gained popularity when he starred in “Glee” as Will Schuester. In 2013, Morrison opened up about being a part of Ryan Murphy’s TV show while it was still on air.

While speaking with The Huffington Post, Morrison said that he’s proud to be part of such an amazing project. “I think as with any show, it ebbs and flows. The first two seasons were the height of the show. I feel those were the strongest seasons. I feel like the third season, for me, was like they weren’t sure what they were going to do. I think they gave everyone’s age away too early on, so they had to eventually graduate them. But I think what they did with the show by moving half of it to New York City was so smart. I think we were getting confined in the high school walls. I feel like it’s going to give the show a little more room to grow,” he said.
