Amanda de Cadenet, daughter of race car driver Alian de Cadenet, has been appearing in the news lately. Yet some may not be familiar with the British born It Girl. Aside from small roles in films like Brokedown Palace, de Cadenet has mostly been under the Hollywood radar. Born in 1972, de Cadenet is best known for her work as a photographer. Though she pursued the film industry, she thrived in the magazine and television world. She worked for such high profile outlets as Spin Magazine and Harper's Bazaar and has photographed such celebrities as Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, and Sofia Coppola.

In 1991, she married Duran Duran's John Taylor but in 1997 the couple called it quits. In 2000, she had a low-key romance with Keanu Reeves (who as one her muses) but she gravitated towards a musician yet again when in 2001 she began dating Nick Valensi of The Strokes. The couple have since married and have two children.

De Cadenet published the book Rare Birds in 2005, which consisted of hundreds of skillfully presented photographs. Her profile began to rise after it was announced that she would collaborate with Demi Moore for a new Lifetime series, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet. The show allows female celebrities to let loose and talk love, loss, addiction, self-esteem and every other issue you can think of. Moore acts as co-executive producer. Moore is not only one of de Cadenet's former photography subjects, she was also the subject of a 2008 interview that appeared in Bazaar.
