Real estate tycoon Cecil Chao has double the amount he will reward a man who succeeds at seducing and marrying his lesbian daughter.

Choa first set the reward in 2012 after his daughter, Gigi Chao, married her girlfriend. At that time, he set the amount at $65 million. But according to the South China Morning Post, the total has now been increased to $120 million.

"I only hope for her to have a good marriage and children as well as inherit my business," Cecil said in a 2012 interview with the Malaysian newspaper Nanyang Siang Pau. But he added that he has no plans to meddle in his daughter's personal life -- though his "marriage bounty" seems to clash with that claim.

According to Chao, more than 20,000 suitors responded to his first search for a suitor back in 2012. But Gigi wasn't concerned with their interest. At the time, she told the Daily Telegraph that she wasn't upset with her father's "marriage bounty" but was very happy with her wife, a woman she had dated for seven years before the two wed.

"At first I was entertained by it, and then that entertainment turned into the realization and conviction that I am a really lucky girl to have such a loving daddy," Gigi said. "It's really sweet of him to do something like this as an expression of his fatherly love."
