Prince William and Prince Harry have a stepsister named Laura Lopes, but she is seldom talked about in the news.

Lopes is the daughter of Camilla Parker Bowles and when the Duchess of Cornwall married Prince Charles, Lopes became part of his royal family. Naturally, Lopes, Prince William and Prince Harry became adults together since Bowles and Prince Charles’ wedding took place in 2005. At that time, Prince Harry was only 21, and Prince William was 23.

Princes William and Harry’s stepsister is much older than them. She is now 40 years old. Lopes was raised as a Roman Catholic, which is very different from the Church of England.

Even though Lopes has done a wonderful job staying out of the spotlight, onlookers still gathered outside her wedding venue in 2006. But perhaps this was because Prince William and Kate Middleton attended her wedding to Harry Lopes.

The Lopeses have been blessed with three kids together. They have a 10-year-old daughter Eliza, as well as twin sons, Louis and Gus, 9. Lopes also served as a bridesmaid at Prince William and Middleton’s 2011 wedding, but it is still unclear whether or not she will play a role at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials on May 19.

Years ago, Bowles opened up about her family life during the time when she was still being linked to Prince Charles. She said that it was such an unpleasant time because they didn’t have any privacy. Bowles said that she relied on her family, especially her kids, at that time.

Bowles and Prince Charles never got the chance to have their own children. The Duchess of Cornwall was already 48 years old when she married the prince. Following her divorce from Lopes’ dad, Andrew Parker Bowles, he married Rosemary Parker Bowles. She passed away in 2010 after battling cancer for several years, according to Hello!

Rosemary’s death came just two weeks after Lopes gave birth to her twin sons.
