Just weeks before its scheduled start, Iggy Azalea's North American concert tour has been postponed. Her team cited “production delays” as the main reason. Following the announcement from Azalea's people, “Jealous” singer Nick Jonas announced on Twitter that he would no longer be participating.

Reports say Jonas, along with singer Tinashe, were forced to exit as opening acts with the future of the tour and its schedule unknown. Jonas is believed to be planning a tour of his own and promised that fans will still get to see him perform this spring.

Tinashe also commented on her departure, tweeting:

“The Great Escape Tour” was set to kick off April 14 in Fresno, California, and continue well into May. The revised schedule shows tour dates starting Sept. 18 and continuing into late October. Not only have the dates been moved, but the New York Times reports there also has been a slight change in the tour's route, though it is believed the 24 cities hit will remain the same. It has not been announced who will be opening for Azalea now that Jonas and Tinashe are out.

Azalea has not yet addressed Jonas' departure from the tour or its postponement. The 24-year-old recently gave up social media following a series of nasty virtual scuffles with rapper Azealia Banks regarding race and other issues. The Australian rapper also has been attacked by other artists, including Snoop Dogg, as well as fans of her haters. Azalea's team announced her social media sabbatical on her Instagram page, saying: “Until further notice Iggy's Instagram will be run by management. Iggy is taking a break from social media.”

The Wrap reports Azalea and her management team clashed recently over her refusal to participate in promotion of the tour. Sources close to the situation say Azalea has become distant from her team and refuses to attend crucial press opportunities in an effort to save the tour.
