Rumors surfaced Monday evening that Charlie Sheen's character on Two and a Half Men will be killed off to make room for Ashton Kutcher's role.

TMZ first reported that Chuck Lorre, the creator of the hit CBS show, plans on making sure Sheen never returns to Two and a Half Men.

According to the report, the producers of the show have been kicking around the idea of having Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, drive his car off a cliff. This will allegedly happen in the premiere episode of the season.

The show doesn't begin filming its new season until August 5 and according to TMZ the first script isn't completely finished and that Lorre often makes changes until close to taping. It's not exactly clear how Kutcher's role will be introduced. TMZ reported that his character might by Sheen's house after the accident.

Sheen was fired from the show a few months ago after embarking on a tirade against the show and its creators.
