Kate Middleton can’t escape speculation she’s expecting her and husband Prince William’s third child. Since welcoming daughter Princess Charlotte with William in May 2015, rumors have been swirling that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with baby No. 3, and to this day, reports continue to circulate there may be another royal baby on the way.

Palace insiders most recently shot down talk Catherine was pregnant in late March. After Star Magazine reported that the palace confirmed Kate was due to give birth in September and was “starting to show,” Gossip Cop confirmed via a “trusted royal insider” that the rumor was just that.

This is far from the first time Kate has created pregnant buzz. Last October, Life & Style claimed Kate was pregnant and her sister, Pippa Middleton, was upset her older sibling was taking away her engagement limelight. The report came after an unnamed “family friend” of Kate’s revealed to Us Weekly in September 2016 that she and the Duke of Cambridge had a desire for a third child. The insider added that Kate would curtail her royal tour schedule in 2017 should she become pregnant again.

While the royal family hasn’t directly addressed the pregnancy reports, Kate has been open about motherhood recently. While introducing the documentary “Out of the Blue” in London last month, Kate got candid when discussing motherhood and how it has changed her.

“Personally, becoming a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience. However, at times it has also been a huge challenge, even for me who has support at home that most mothers do not.

“Nothing can really prepare you for you the sheer overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother. It is full of complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love and worry, all mixed together. Your fundamental identity changes overnight. You go from thinking of yourself as primarily an individual to suddenly being a mother, first and foremost."

Kate shares two children with Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. Princess Charlotte turns 2 next month and 3-year-old Prince George is the third in line to Britain’s royal throne.
