Who is the Season 20 star of “The Bachelor”? Casting has yet to be announced for the leading role in the ABC reality series, but “Bachelorette” alum Nick Viall is throwing his hat into the ring. It sounds like the 34-year-old software sales executive wouldn’t mind a third shot at love!

During an interview with Huffington Post podcast “Here to Make Friends,” the runner-up from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s recent season revealed that he would “seriously consider” becoming the next Bachelor.

“It’s obviously an incredible opportunity,” he explained. However, he is aware that starring on “The Bachelor” would mark his third attempt on the reality series.

“For me, I would be in a different boat,” he dished. “All of the sudden, for the third time I’m going on a show to find love.”

But is Nick truly ready to find love? His ex-girlfriend, “Bachelorette” alum Andi Dorfman, thinks so!

“I had my ups and downs with Nick, but the thing I will say about him is I know that he is genuine in what he wants and that is love,” Dorfman dished to Us Weekly. “Whether or not he goes about it the way that everybody else would.”

For those unfamiliar with Nick Viall’s journey on “The Bachelorette,” he made his first appearance during Andi Dorfman’s season in 2014. Nick was a front-runner from the start, landing the first impression rose on night one. However, he wasn’t a fan favorite or well liked by the other guys. Nick’s fellow contestants found him to be manipulative and sneaky in stealing time with Andi.

Nick made it all the way to the finale but didn’t get a chance to propose to Andi. The Bachelorette chose to break things off with him prior to the final rose ceremony. Nick was left heartbroken and had a very controversial last encounter with Andi during the “After the Final Rose” special. The contestant received backlash after calling Andi out for having sex with him while on the show.

Fans of “The Bachelorette” thought they had seen the last of Nick … until he resurfaced on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season this summer. The two had developed a friendship via social media, and Nick decided to make the grand gesture by asking Kaitlyn if he could join her already-underway season.

Although the other contestants didn’t approve of Nick joining their season, Kaitlyn and Nick’s chemistry was undeniable. Who can forget their steamy hookup in Ireland? But unfortunately that wasn’t enough for Nick to win Kaitlyn’s heart. He tried to propose to her during the final rose ceremony, but she stopped him and broke things off with him.
