Fifty years ago today, Wilt Chamberlain set a record by scoring 100 points in an NBA game.

The person to come closest to breaking the record is Kobe Bryant, and he was still 19 points shy of tying Chamberlain's mark.

The center was maybe the most dominant player in NBA history, and holds numerous league records that will probably never be matched.
