Witches of East End season 2 spoilers
"Witches of East End" welcomes a new character in episode 7 as well as new drama! Get the Season 2 scoop on what will happen in "Art of Darkness." Lifetime/Witches of East End

The Mandragora might be dead, but the drama has only started to begin on Season 2 of the hit Lifetime series “Witches of East End.” Viewers will find themselves swimming through an endless amount of twists and turns when episode 7, “Art of Darkness,” airs on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 9 p.m. EDT.

Do you think you’re witch enough to handle whatever creator Maggie Friedman has in store for our favorite Beauchamp beauties? Because after reading the synopsis for episode 7 – we’re not so sure anymore!

According to the summary, “WOEE” fans will be introduced to a new character (a villainous warlock we’re assuming) who will pay a visit to the Beauchamp family. Tarkoff (played by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum James Marsters) is “an old friend of the family” who has his sights set on Joanna and Frederick specifically.

During the promo for “Art of Darkness,” viewers watch as Tarkoff hands Freddie a suspicious potion.

“You will prepare this potion then slip it into mother’s drink,” he says to Frederick.

“You want me to kill her?” he asks.

During the final moments of episode 6 it was confirmed that Freddie boy still has some sort of allegiance to his grandfather. After saving Aunt Wendy and Ingrid from the scaly, blue creature, Frederick’s king-branded started glowing. He dropped to the floor withering in pain and foaming from the mouth as he apologized to his grandfather.

“I’ll find another way,” he said, leaving us to believe that Aunt Wendy’s intuitions about Frederick were right from the get-go.

But that’s not the only family drama occurring in episode 7. The promo suggests Freya and Ingrid will find themselves in a sticky situation when Ingrid reveals to her sister her desire to date Dash. Ingrid and Dash have had an odd connection over the past few episodes – she helped save him, he helped saved her, she helped save him again – but we’re not so sure if Dash’s intentions are pure. You heard him wishing “all the Beauchamp women” pain while he was suffering from Mandragora poisoning.

And we’re not the only ones weary of Dash. Freya is also skeptical regarding her ex-fiancé dating her sister.

“You’re going on a date with Dash?” Freya asks. “I don’t trust him.”

Just a side note – isn’t it against sister code for one to date another’s boyfriend/fiancé?

Speaking of trouble in paradise, Killian will grow to have doubts about his significant other in episode 7 – and for good reason!

“I know what you’re doing to me,” Killian says to Eva in the promo.

“You need to calm down,” she replies. But Killian practically has steam coming out of his ears.

“I’m not going to calm down,” he quickly answers.

Next thing we see is Eva splattering blood onto Killian’s face. He then begins to scream in agonizing pain.

Guess Wendy was right when she says, “Love always ends in pain."
