SYDNEY - Production at the Vincent oil field off western Australia has resumed after a fire had shut it down in April, Woodside Petroleum Ltd said in a statement on Tuesday.

Woodside has a 60 percent interest in the Vincent oil project while Mitsui E&P Australia owns the rest.

Production at the 35,800 barrels-a-day Vincent field was halted in mid April after a fire on board a floating production and storage. ($1=A$1.26)
