With “X-Men: Apocalypse” in production in Montreal, director Bryan Singer is keeping fans updated with on-set happenings. In a recent Instagram video, he shared a destruction scene where everything seems to have burned down in front a green screen.

A camera operator can be seen capturing the scene and a helicopter can be seen landing. The caption of the post reads, “I sent this to my awesome costume designer Louise to articulate that I was a little busy at the moment. #Xmen #apocalypse.”

Comic Book captured from the video a still photo of a man dressed in blue. He was reportedly seen briefly in the background as Singer was panning the camera. The appearance of the mysterious man has prompted speculation that the scene may be related to Oscar Isaac’s villain character Apocalypse.

In the comics, Apocalypse is mostly portrayed in blue costume. According to Isaac, his costume for the film will be a mix of practical and digital effects. “I haven’t had a script so I haven’t had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it’ll be a mixture of physical, aided with some robotic technology,” he previously told Yahoo.

The actor said he is working hard to play the character and is investing time in understanding the villain's psychology. “I am incredibly interested in the challenge of finding someone that's psychologically interesting and compelling, and actually the spiritual aspects of the character. ... For me, that's what I'm interested in, in any character that I do. It's a meditation on 'What's their engine? What's their spirit?” he told IGN.

Singer is directing from a screenplay by Simon Kinberg. Other cast members include James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Ben Hardy, Lana Condor and Olivia Munn. It opens May 27, 2016.
