Director Bryan Singer recently shared a photo from the sets of “X-Men Apocalypse.” The film is currently being shot in Montreal. The Instagram photo shows a group of uniformed man who can be seen standing among trees. They are carrying bows and arrows in their hands. The photo was captioned as “The past catches up. #Xmen #XMenApocalypse."

The actors, dressed in uniform, are unidentified. IGN speculated that they could be Nazis who went against Magneto in “X-Men: First Class.” Moreover, Cinemablend speculated that this scene could involve the main villain Apocalypse.

There is no confirmed context to the photo. “X-Men: Apoclaypse” is currently under production. The plot is being kept under the wraps. However, Cinemablend reported that the film will show superheroes fighting the “molecule controlling” villain. The war between the superheroes and Apocalypse could lead to major changes in the course of history and time.

Meanwhile, director Singer also shared an image of James McAvoy, who plays Professor Charles Xavier, aka Professor X. In the image, the character was shown going bald. It was captioned as Xavier reborn (in process ) #jamesmcavoy #XMEN #XMenApocalypse @xmenmovies.”

It has been reported by Deadline that Professor X can go bald in the film due to a side effect of his powers. According to the comic book, Professor X is a paraplegic with superhuman abilities. He has a rare gift of telepathic powers, which help him control other people's minds.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” will have the screenplay by Simon Kinberg and is scheduled to be released May 27, 2016. The cast includes McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Ben Hardy, Lana Condor and Olivia Munn. The story has been developed by Dan Harris, Michael Dougherty, Kinberg and Singer.
