A new leak shows a believable Xiaomi Mi 5 render claiming that it’s close to the final product. In addition, the source has also listed key configurations and pricing details of the upcoming flagship.

GForGames citing the Chinese source Zaeke said that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will come with a 2.5D glass panel at the front, whereas the rear panel will feature a 3D glass. The company has reportedly used a metal frame on the device, complete with chamfered edges. At the tail end of the handset, a USB Type-C port, along with a bunch of antenna bands and speaker grills can be seen on the render.

A home button is clearly visible and a fingerprint scanner has apparently been infixed on the button. This scanner is believed to be the smallest and fastest in the market. Under the hood, the Mi 5 will come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor and backed by either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM depending on the native storage space choice of 32 GB or 64 GB, respectively.

On the software front, as expected, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS will run the device out of the box, along with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI 7. This handset is believed to carry a 5.2-inch display and Full HD or QHD screen resolution.

The primary camera will apparently be a 16-megapixel sensor, in addition to an ultra-generous 13-megapixel secondary shooter for selfies. The entire configuration will be backed by a brilliant 3,600 mAh non-removable battery unit, which is apparently compatible with Quick Charge 3.

As far as the Xiaomi Mi 5 price goes, source says, the 32 GB version will set the buyers back by 1,999 yuan (about $308), while the 64 GB version will cost 2,299 yuan (about $354).
