Based on an unofficial teaser image shared via Weibo, the “Xiaomi Mi 5” and “Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro” were expected to be announced on Nov. 11. However, the day has passed and no details have emerged from China thus far. Nevertheless, here is a roundup of all the configuration details collated thus far.

Xiaomi Mi 5 Specs, Features

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch display, aided by a QHD screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The device’s screen will come protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 panel. To top it off, the flagship device is expected to house a fingerprint sensor for authentication and a Type-C USB port, similar to all the high-end devices released this year.

Under the hood, the handset is believed to come powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or the power-packed next-generation silicon Snapdragon 820, depending on the availability of the latter. In addition, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS will apparently run the device, out of the box.

When it comes to memory configuration, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will come equipped with 32 GB and 64 GB of native storage space. There is no word available on the expandable storage option. The device is expected to come backed by a killer 4 GB of RAM. A 16-megapixel rear-facing camera unit with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a generous 5-megapixel front-facing shooter will reportedly be part of the phone. Lastly, a cool 3,000 mAh battery cell will keep the lights on.

As it turns out, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is an “improvised version” of the mid-ranger Redmi Note 2. The 5.5-inch FHD display clad device will reportedly come enwrapped in a metallic chassis. A fingerprint scanner is also rumored to be part of the handset.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 2 Pro is believed to be powered by a MediaTek MT6795 SoC, running at 2.2 GHz and backed by 2 GB of RAM. On the software front, it will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with custom MIUI 7 on top of it.

Other Redmi Note 2 Pro features include 32 GB of in-built storage space, 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary shooter and a solid 3,060 mAh battery cell.
