Xiaomi has already released a flagship smartphone – Xiaomi Mi 5, earlier this year. Now the company is speculated to be working on another flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Lin Bin, the co-founder and president of Xiaomi, has confirmed that it will be releasing a high-performance flagship in the next month.

Lin Bin has refrained from revealing the name of the next flagship smartphone. However, rumors are rife that the company may unveil Xiaomi Mi Note 2 in July, Gizmo China reported. Other rumors suggest that Xiaomi may launch a new smartphone that is allegedly named as Xiaomi Mi Edge. It is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch dual edge curved display.

Rumors have it that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 823 chipset, an overclocked variant of Snapdragon 820 that fires flagships like Xiaomi Mi 5, Galaxy S7, LG G5, HTC 10, Moto Z and OnePlus 3. The SD 823 chipset is expected to be supported by 6 GB of RAM.

It is heavily pegged to include a dual camera setup. A leakster has revealed on Weibo that several brands like Xiaomi, Oppo and Apple are going to launch dual camera smartphones this year.

Rumors also hint that the Chinese manufacturer may launch Xiaomi Notebook in July. It is expected to be available for purchase by summer. The device is speculated to feature aluminum chassis and a 12.5-inch screen.

The Xiaomi Notebook is expected to be available in different CPU editions of Intel Skylake chipset such as Core i5 and Core i7. The highest configuration variant of Xiaomi Notebook is expected to include 8 GB of RAM. The starting variant is expected to cost around $450.

The Chinese firm is also rumored to be working on a Xiaomi smartwatch. The company is expected to launch the smartwatch in two versions. The starting variant is rumored to cost $152.
