Yolanda Foster has filed divorce papers on Tuesday, Jan. 12, which would officially end her marriage with David Foster.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star stated Nov.18, 2015 as the date of her separation from music producer David, which is a few weeks ahead of the former Hollywood couple’s December separation announcement, E!News reported. In the divorce filings, Yolanda has requested her estranged husband to cover legal fees, as well as provide spousal support.

Yolanda and David’s separation was just one of the shocking Hollywood divorces in 2015. The two were married for four years before they decided to separate. In a joint statement issued in December 2015, Yolanda and David stated that they were “grateful for the years [they] spent together,” which included going through challenges such as busy careers, blended families and health issues. The TV reality star was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and previous reports indicated that her battle with the disease, as well as David’s busy schedule, took its toll on the marriage.

The former Hollywood couple’s union was said to have affected their eight children from separate relationships. David has five daughters from previous marriages while Yolanda has three from former husband Mohamed Hadid namely Gigi Hadid, Anwar and Bella. Previous reports shared that Yolanda and David had a difficult time trying to blend their families together.

In December, David has also spoken out for the first time about his marriage and separation from Yolanda. In a statement, the music producer said that “inaccurate or baseless” information has been reported about their separation, which included news of his reportedly lack of support while Yolanda battled Lyme disease. He described these reports as “frustrating” and stated that he has supported Yolanda “to the best of [his] ability” throughout their marriage.

Yolanda and David were in a nine year relationship, with four years spent as a married couple. The two announced their separation on Dec. 1, 2015.
