'Young and the Restless'

On Wednesday's episode of the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless," Ashley must put on a brave face as she deals with a health crisis. The episode will focus on Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Victor (Eric Braeden),Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Avery (Jessica Collins), Marco (Peter Bergman), Billy (Burgess Jenkins), Abby (Melissa Ordway), Ben (Sean Carrigan), Summer (Hunter Haley King) and Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan).

The events follow Tuesday's episode, which showed Summer and Phyllis discovering that Avery is gone and that there seemed to be a struggle in her apartment. It also featured Kyle unintentionally helping Marco Annicelli. Stitch confronted Dr. Barton about Ashley's seizure. Plus, Jack was sold to Marco, who turned out to be the highest bidder.

Meanwhile, Victor will warn Victoria about dealing with the Abbotts. Phyllis will demand to know what happened to Avery, who seemed to have disappeared.

Soaps.sheknows.com reports that Ashley will undergo surgery and Avery will finally turn up after temporarily disappearing. As for Phyllis, she will confront Joe about something. Ashley doesn't want to have surgery for her aneurysm, but Ben told her that she has to, otherwise she will die. Billy and Abby will help Ben convince Ashley to agree to the surgery.

Summer and Kyle will also go to the hospital to check out how Ashley is doing. Ben tells them that the surgery was successful. Meanwhile, Marco will inform Kyle and Billy that he plans to do something for Ashley and the company.

The show posted a preview video for its Wednesday episode on its official YouTube channel. It shows several scenes featuring Ashley, Ben, Joe and Phyllis. Ben wants to schedule Ashley's surgery as soon as possible. But Ashley will protest that she hasn't even said yes to it yet. As for Phyllis, she tells Joe that she has a feeling that he did something to Avery. Joe will inform her that there's another reason why Avery has gone missing.
