With “Younger” Season 3’s finale coming up, fans are curious to know if Liza’s (Sutton Foster) secret will finally be revealed. While there has been no confirmation as whether or not Liza’s lie will be known soon, the show’s actors already know how their characters will react to the news.

In an interview with Forbes, Miriam Shor, who plays Liza’s boss, said she can see her character reacting in different ways to the news. “There are so many ways it could go. To put it mildly, Diana is the kind of woman to bristle at the idea of being lied to or being made the fool,” Shor said. “You could just see that she would lose her [cool] over it. However, I have this instinct that when and if Liza tells her, she would just say, ‘Of course! I always knew that. I respect whatever you have to do to get ahead. But you’re still my assistant. Now go get me my coffee.”

Hilary Duff, who plays Kelsey, has also shared what she thinks her character would do once she finds out that Liza has been lying to her all along about her age. Speaking with Vulture, the actress said that Kelsey will take it personally and would treat it as a betrayal. Still, with her character being hard to decipher, the reaction may be different from what she expects.

“I don’t think she’s going to respond well to it. I think it’s going to be a big shock and she’s going to be hurt. But you never know,” Duff said. “Kelsey sometimes surprises me right when I think I know her so well.”

While it is still uncertain whether Liza will come clean or continue keeping her secret in the finale, fans will still be up for a fun-filled episode. The first half of the one-hour finale’s synopsis reads: “Liza gets closer to Charles (Peter Hermann) at a book fair and Kelsey feels neglected by Colin (Jay Wilkinson).” The latter part of the finale will see Liza facing some “hard truths” after seeing a life coach.

The “Younger” Season 3 finale will air on Wednesday, Dec. 14 on TVLand.
