The critics have spoken!
The 22nd Critics’ Choice Awards took place Sunday at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
"La La Land" was the big movie winner of the night, picking up eight awards including Best Picture. "Deadpool" was awarded Best Comedy and "Hacksaw Ridge" was awarded Best Action Movie. On the television side, "Game of Thrones" picked up the award for Best Drama Series, "Silicon Valley" won Best Comedy Series and "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson" was honored with the Best Television Movie or Limited Series award.
Individual acting winners included Casey Affleck, Natalie Portman, Mahershala Ali, Viola Davis, Lucas Hedges, Margot Robbie, Ryan Reynolds, Meryl Streep, John Lithgow, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kate McKinnon, Courtney B. Vance, Sarah Paulson, Sterling K. Brown, Regina King and more.
