What do Back Street Boys' Nick Carter and One Direction's Niall Horan have in common? Well, nothing at the moment, but if Carter has his way, Horan might play his brother in an upcoming zombie movie titled, “Dead 7.”

At least this is what Carter wants and he expressed his desire on Twitter: “Ok @NiallOfficial I know we’re from different generations but … would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me?” Carter tweeted Sunday. The One Direction hunk, who is currently on a world tour with the band, has yet to reply to Carter's tweet.

Carter is not the only boy band member to act in the movie. The 35-year-old will also rope in wife Lauren Kitt, Entertainment Weekly reported. Former bandmate A.J. McLean also is expected to join the cast. But there is another surprise. Carter has also approached former boy band NYSNC member Joey Fatone.

The film will be produced by the Asylum, known for producing the movie "Sharknado." “Dead 7” tells the story of a “ragtag band of gunslingers who must rid a small town of a zombie plague in a post-apocalyptic West,” according to press release, and “Carter will play Jack, the reluctant hero who unites the outlaws to face the zombie menace.”

Meanwhile, Carter said it was his dream to direct, write and act in a movie and he is excited he is able to fulfill it. "Now we are set to make a unique, badass movie full of surprises and action sure to make heads turn. It's going to be epic,” he added

"Continuing in the tradition of the 'Sharknado' franchise, we are thrilled at the opportunity to once again set pop culture within an action-packed, genre landscape," Asylum partner David Rimawi said. “Dead 7” is slated for a 2016 release.
