Adriana Lima Vacations In Brazil To Welcome New Year With Inspiration

While most people travel to exotic locations and the hot tourist spots to celebrate the New Year, Adriana Lima decided to take a trip to her hometown in Brazil to reconnect with her roots. She has been traveling and visiting various places that have historical significance during this trip, and she has been sharing pictures of her experiences with her fans online.

Lima was most excited last week, when she shared a picture of a lighthouse on Instagram and announced that she was travelling to her hometown in Brazil. “My beautiful hometown I am arriving,” she wrote.

The model appears to have spent most of her time in Bahia, the north-eastern state of Brazil. She shared a set of pictures of her visit to The Historic Center or Centre of Salvador de Bahia on Instagram.

Along with the different pictures of her visit, Lima also shared a quote from Gilberto Gil to talk about the girls from Bahia. The quote highlights the unique qualities of the women from the state and their deep spiritual connection.

The vacation appears to have positively affected Lima and it also appears to have changed her a little. In another post on Instagram, she shared a quote from “Alice in Wonderland” that talks about the protagonist feeling a change after waking up in the morning.

The picture Lima shared when she talked about feeling a change in her appears to have been taken at The Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim. She wore a cream-colored sleeveless top, white skirt, dark sunglasses and black sandals in the picture. The model finished the look with a black handbag.

After the vacation, Lima also shared a feel good post online with her fans. “May the sh-t of 2019 become manure for 2020,” she wrote. It is unclear if the model has returned from her vacation after celebrating New Year.
