College football will crown a CFP national champion in two days, when the Alabama Crimson Tide (14-0) face the Clemson Tigers (14-0) at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

According to Westgate Sportsbook, Alabama is favored by 4.5 points with the over/under at 58.5 points. Some casinos on Saturday have Alabama favored by 5.5 points, with the over/under at 59 points.

Alabama opened as a 6.5-point favorite at most casinos.

The defending champions have 4/9 odds of winning the title, while Clemson has 2/1 odds.

Both schools put up a lot of points in the CFP semifinals. Alabama is coming off a 45-34 win over Oklahoma, while Clemson trounced Notre Dame, 30-3.

There is recent history between the two schools in the national championship, with Alabama having been favored in the last two meetings by roughly the same margin as this year.

Alabama and Clemson met in the 2017 national title game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, with Clemson prevailing, 35-31. Alabama entered the matchup as 6.5-point favorites.

Alabama defeated Clemson in the 2016 national championship at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, 45-40. Like in 2017, the Crimson Tide had entered at 6.5-point favorites.
