Amber Heard irked the netizens after going braless when she visited the mosques in Istanbul, with many calling out the actress for being disrespectful.
The "Aquaman" star shared a snap of her on Instagram after enjoying her visit in the Istanbul mosques. However, several disapproved of her outfit when they noticed that she was not wearing a bra.
"Amber heard is the type of person who would go into a mosque braless just so she can be disrespectful and have something to post for her *fans* on instagram. I think this women is on a mission to piss off the entire world just so she can pretend that people still care about her," one wrote.
"@realamberheard please stop this PR thing you're doing to make you look good, cause it's not. You are embarrassing yourself. Showing up braless in a Mosque, it's is not done like this! It is better to be silent for awhile cause every attempt you make will just backfire on you!" another added.
"#amberheard is in such awe of Istanbul and the beautiful Mosques that her nipples are popping out of her silky top... this b—- is so disrespectful...COVER YOURSELF, Turd! smfh," another commented.
Several also called her attention after she shared a snap of her seemingly laughing inside a mosque while someone behind her was praying. A number of netizens were offended because for them she was invading the man’s privacy by taking a photo with him in the background without his consent.
Despite the backlash Heard received from her critics, several still supported her. Some of her fans even welcomed her to Istanbul.
"Welcome to Istanbul amber," one wrote.
"Welcome to istanbul Queen A," another added.
Another also praised Johnny Depp's ex for sending a powerful message with her visit in Istanbul.
"Even on holiday, #AmberHeard sends a powerful message. She's in Turkey just as the government is about to vote on withdrawing from the Istanbul Convention (which protects women from DV) Coincidence? I don't think so! Go Amber!" one social media user wrote.
Meanwhile, Heard shared another post on Instagram that seemingly appeared to be her response to the backlash. In the photo, she closes her eyes while laughing. "Vacation laugh is its own thing," she wrote in the caption.
