Amelia Hamlin's Parents Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin Were 'Skeptical' About Scott Disick Romance: Report

"Days of Our Lives" alum Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin had misgivings about their daughter, Amelia Hamlin, dating Scott Disick at first, according to a report.

Disick, 37, has been seen out and about with his new girlfriend, 19, months after his split from Sofia Richie. However, the reality star, who is 18 years Hamlin's senior, initially didn't have the approval of the model's parents.

"Her parents were skeptical at first," an insider told Us Weekly. "But seeing their daughter happy makes them feel better about their relationship."

Hamlin has been very open about her relationship with Disick since they made their romance Instagram official in February. They were first spotted together in October last year at a Halloween party.

Last week, Hamlin shared a sweet snap of herself and Disick on her Instagram story, with the Talentless designer's arm around her waist. She was also spotted enjoying a dinner date with Disick after the release of a teaser for an upcoming "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episode in which he says he is ready to marry his ex, Kourtney Kardashian.

"Well I love you and I'm ready to marry you right here, right now," Disick said. "Kourtney knows that we'll eventually get married and live a good life."

Hamlin appeared to have no issue with it and even called the TV personality and entrepreneur her "dream man."

Meanwhile, the Kardashian-Jenner clan is reportedly supportive of Disick's new relationship. In fact, they think the teen is a positive influence on him, according to an insider.

"The Kardashian-Jenner family is super supportive of Scott and Amelia’s relationship," the source told Us Weekly. "They really like the two of them together and think Amelia is a great influence on Scott. Scott and Amelia are in a really good place. They have a lot of love and respect for each other and it shows."

Kardashian and Disick remain amicable after their split and co-parent their three children — sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 8. However, some fans continue to speculate on their relationship because Disick sometimes leaves flirty comments on her Instagram posts.

At present, Kardashian is also in a relationship. The reality star and Travis Barker are officially an item and spent Valentine’s Day together. They have been close friends for years as they live in the same neighborhood and run in the same social circle.
