Are you prepared to be scared? In just a few months Ryan Murphy’s anticipated thriller “American Horror Story” will be returning to TV. And according to reports, Season 5 of the FX drama, titled “Hotel,” will have audiences sleeping with one eye open when the frightening series premieres in October.

Thus far the showrunner has teased quite a bit of information regarding the upcoming installment: The plot will take place in Los Angeles, Season 5 will be connected to the previous four seasons and it was inspired by the 1935 musical “Top Hat.”

Not only were viewers given scoop on what the fifth installment would entail, but they’ve also learned what actors will be scaring us silly this fall. Although Jessica Lange will be notably absent from the upcoming season (she confirmed her exit from “AHS” in March) other veterans from the chilling FX drama will be checking in to “Hotel.”

Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley are all confirmed to be partaking in Season 5. Viewers can also expect to see a few new, not-so-friendly faces in the spooky series like Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson and Max Greenfield.

But despite the star-studded cast, there were a few major names missing from the “Hotel” roster like Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare, Lily Rabe and Emma Roberts. However, according to reports, one of the previously mentioned actors will make a last-minute appearance in the forthcoming drama.

While promoting her upcoming project “Scream Queens,” which was also co-created by Murphy, Roberts divulged it was a “dream come true” to work once again with the mastermind behind the menacing series.

“I’d follow him anywhere. So to go from ‘American Horror Story’ to this -– and hopefully back to ‘American Horror Story’ at the end of the year -- is a dream come true,” she gushed to E! Online during the Fox Upfronts in May, teasing viewers that they should anticipate her appearance toward the end of “Hotel.”

“I think so,” Roberts said, hinting at her participation in Season 5. “At the end. I’m hoping. I don’t know. You’ll have to ask Ryan.”
