“American Horror Story” Season 7 is set to be unlike anything we’ve seen Ryan Murphy do before. In keeping with the unconventional, some unexpected stars are joining the cast.

According to Deadline, comedian Billy Eichner will appear in Season 7 of the FX series. His role is unknown, but he will be recurring. Sources say he’ll be playing someone in Sarah Paulson’s character’s inner circle and “will mostly be wearing mysterious tank tops.”

As for the rest of the “American Horror Story” Season 7 cast, it’s still a mystery. Fans know series regulars Paulson and Evan Peters are appearing. Neither Murphy, nor anyone else close to the show, has given any clues as to whom they’ll play.

“American Horror Story” Season 7 will center around the 2016 election. Us Weekly reports that episode 1 will be set on election night. What we don’t know is whether Murphy will mold any characters into Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

The show’s creator played it coy when discussing it on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” in February. At the time, he had only nailed down the “American Horror Story” Season 7 theme. He had yet to decide on a title or the appearance of a Trump-like character.

“American Horror Story” Season 7 will begin filming in May. The show is set to premiere in the fall.
