‘America’s Got Talent’
Will Bello Nock successfully finish his dangerous act in the third judge cuts episode of “America’s Got Talent” Season 12? NBC

The third judge cuts round of “America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will feature majority of the contestants who performed death-defying acts during their auditions.

In the teaser released by NBC for Tuesday night’s episode, daredevil clown Bello Nock shocks the judges with his dangerous routine. Nock will perform outdoors in the judge cuts round unlike his indoor performance during his audition. This time around, he will be fired from inside a huge cannon without a net to catch him at the other end. Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel and guest judge Laverne Cox are all impressed but worried that he will not walk away unscathed.

Other than Nock, Jonathan Rinny will also try to earn one of the seven spots in the live shows with his balancing act. Rinny will make use of cans and other props for his routine. According to the teaser, Tuesday night’s installment is the most extreme episode in the history of “America’s Got Talent” for the past 12 seasons.

Unfortunately, not everyone will make it to the live shows no matter how impressive their performances are. After all, out of the 20 contestants who will be performing, only seven will head to the Dolby Theater next month. For the past two weeks, Cowell, Klum, Mel B and Mandel said their goodbyes to fan favorites who did not make it past the judge cuts round.

Magician Tom London, comedians Harrison Greenbaum and Steven Scott, opera singer Carlos Antonis, acrobats Danylo & Oskar and several others were booted off. But if these contestants were sent home, two others received the prestigious golden buzzer from guest judges Chris Hardwick and DJ Khaled. Angelica Hale, 9, received Hardwick’s golden buzzer after she sang a stunning rendition of Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire.” Chase Goehring’s original song wowed Khaled, and the music producer even told Goehring that they should collaborate soon.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC. Starting Aug. 15, the reality TV competition will air Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT.
