  • Angelina Jolie bonded with married artists JR and Prune Nourry during her Italian getaway
  • The "Maleficent" star was photographed looking carefree and making several poses on a rooftop
  • JR and Prune shared a series of photos with Jolie from their local trips together on social media

Angelina Jolie and her kids recently visited Italy and the "Maleficent" actress loved the trip, according to a report.

Jolie loves to travel with her kids. Two months ago, they flew to New York for a post-birthday celebration after she turned 46 in June. And the family recently visited Italy. During their trip, she and the kids stayed at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice.

While on vacation, Jolie also grabbed the opportunity to bond with married artists JR and Prune Nourry. Jolie is notoriously private when it comes to her personal travels. However, her friends, including JR, shared several snaps of her stay in the city on Instagram Stories and E! News obtained some of them.

In the photos, Jolie can be seen on a rooftop and she looked carefree while making several poses. At one point, she grinned as she stood barefoot on the rooftop. The "Eternals" star was visibly enjoying the trip based on the snaps.

For the photoshoot, Jolie wore a gray caftan. In one photo, she held her dress in one hand while raising her other hand and one leg as if she were dancing. In another shot, Jolie was all smiles while sitting inside a restaurant. The snap was taken when they dined in Strasbourg.

Another picture also featured Jolie smiling while holding a camera during a train ride. She wore a face mask when she explored the city. Brad Pitt's ex-wife was also photographed on a luxury boat. She even posed for a selfie with JR and artist Ai Weiwei.

Prune also shared a series of photos on Instagram. She kept the caption short and only wrote, "Venice" with a bow and arrow and blue heart emoji.

Jolie's trip to Italy came after she scored a big win in her custody battle against Pitt last month. The Court of Appeals sided with Jolie and was convinced that Judge John W. Ouderkirk didn't sufficiently disclose his business relationship with Pitt's lawyers. The court cited Ouderkirk's "ethical breach" and "recent professional relationships with Pitt's counsel" and ruled that "disqualification is required."

Following the ruling, Ouderkirk's decision to give Pitt joint custody of their five minor children in May was deemed moot effectively. Jolie has since retained the full custody of their children while Pitt has visitation rights.
