It's been months since news broke that Josh Duggar had been unfaithful to wife Anna Duggar, but she's still at a loss. The mother of four will open up in the new season of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" about the scandals and how they have weighed on her.

The trailer for the upcoming season of the TLC series suggests the 27-year-old's storyline will focus on her attempts to recoup after Josh's infidelity rocked her otherwise-normal life. In the trailer she can be heard discussing his string of scandals, admitting that she still doesn't know how to handle it. Anna says she's just trying to "do the next right thing" and formulate the best possible responses for questions pertaining to her current situation. She will reveal to viewers that she never pictured her life going this way.

"I don't know what I'm stepping into," she says in the preview. "I don't know how to handle each situation. It's not anything I ever would have thought I would walk through. [I tell myself to] just do the next right thing, have the next right response for the next 15 minutes."

Anna isn't the only one struggling in the wake of Josh's bad behavior. The incidents — one of which included last year's reveal that he had molested five underage girls, four of whom were his siblings, at the age of 14 — have weighed heavily on members of the Duggar family.

Josh's sister, Jessa Seewald, spoke out about life after her sexual abuse and Josh's marital transgressions, telling People magazine that she still loves her brother. The former star of TLC's now-canceled series "19 Kids and Counting" told the publication that she forgives Josh, but it hasn't been easy. Jessa said that while she no longer harbors resentment for her eldest sibling, she is still struggling to trust him. Her sister, Joy-Anna Duggar, echoed those sentiments, telling People she forgives Josh, "but the trust is not there."

Anna has been relatively open with fans about her life post-scandal. On Jan. 23, she released a statement on the Duggar family blog about her challenging year, telling fans she was humbled and touched by how many people had reached out to her and wished her well. Anna wrote that the tragedy had strengthened her faith. She shared that she had visited her husband in rehab, calling it "an important step on a long difficult road." In closing, Anna asked that readers continue to send their prayers to her, Josh and their children while they attempt to rebuild their relationship.

Anna's blog post came nearly one month after she was seen returning to Arkansas from Illinois where Josh is currently residing. People magazine reported that a small plane belonging to the Duggar family was spotted flying out of Illinois on the evening of Jan. 29. Anna was believed to have been in Illinois to visit Josh, who has been seeking treatment at a faith-based facility in Rockford.

"Jill & Jess" premieres Tuesday, March 15, at 9 p.m. EST on TLC. Check out a preview for Season 1 below:
